AssurifEye Data Quality Score: Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the AssurifEye Data Quality Score service at score.assurifeye.com (the "Service"). The Service is provided by LeadAyEye (Pty) Ltd (registered name LEADAYEYE), a private company registered in South Africa under registration number 2025/492337/07, trading as AssurifEye ("AssurifEye", "we", "us").

By clicking "Accept and continue", you agree to these terms for yourself and for the organisation you represent ("you"). If you do not agree, do not upload any data.

1. Who the Service is for

The Service is for business use only. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the authority to accept these terms on behalf of your organisation.

2. Free use and fair-use limits

2.1 What is free. Each organisation can run 2 free Data Quality Scores and 2 free clean-up previews in any rolling 6-month period.

2.2 How we count. We count assessments by the domain of the work email used (for example, everyone using an @yourcompany.com address shares the same allowance). If you use a public email provider (such as Gmail or Outlook), we count by email address instead.

2.3 When the limit is reached. The Service will tell you when your next free assessment becomes available. You can still open earlier results through the links we emailed you, for as long as that data is kept (see section 3.4).

2.4 Paid help is always available. The limit applies only to free use. You can ask us for a paid clean-up or a consult at any time by using the buttons in the Service or by emailing hello@assurifeye.com.

2.5 Changes to the limits. We may change these limits. The limits shown in the Service when you start an assessment apply to it.

3. Your data

3.1 You own your data. Everything you upload (your asset register and any notes you add) remains yours.

3.2 Our licence to use it. You give us a limited licence to store, process and analyse your data only to provide the Service to you: calculating your score, preparing your report and clean-up preview, and, if you buy a clean-up, delivering it.

3.3 Your authority to share it. You confirm that you are allowed to share the data with us for this purpose, and that doing so does not breach any law, contract or confidentiality obligation. If your register contains personal information (for example, names of staff responsible for assets), you confirm that you may lawfully share it with us. Please leave out any personal information we do not need.

3.4 Deletion. Your uploaded file, asset records, scores, results and notes are permanently deleted 30 days after upload, or sooner if you ask us at hello@assurifeye.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep after that and why.

3.5 Anonymised statistics. We may create anonymised, aggregated statistics from assessments (for example, the average score in an industry). These never identify you, your organisation or any individual asset.

4. Your private link

Your assessment is accessed through a private link sent to your email address. Anyone who has the link can open your assessment, and anyone with a view-only share link can view it. Keep your links private and share them only with people you trust. You are responsible for anyone you give a link to.

5. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not help or allow anyone else to:

1. copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to derive the source code, scoring methods, rules, weightings, reference data or underlying logic of the Service;
2. use the Service, its outputs or any part of it to design, build, train, test, benchmark or improve a product or service that competes with AssurifEye;
3. scrape, crawl or systematically extract data, results or reference information from the Service, or access it by any automated means other than the interface we provide;
4. resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs, other than using your own results within your organisation and with your advisers;
5. get around usage limits, security controls or access restrictions, including by creating several assessments or email addresses to avoid limits;
6. upload anything unlawful, malicious or harmful, or anything you are not entitled to share;
7. interfere with or disrupt the Service or the systems it runs on.

We may suspend or end your access, and delete your data, if we reasonably believe you have broken this section.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, its software, design, scoring methodology, rules, weightings, reference data, report formats and all related intellectual property belong to us or our licensors. Apart from the right to use the Service under these terms, nothing gives you any rights in them. Your report is yours to use within your organisation.

7. What the score is, and what it is not

The Data Quality Score is an automated, indicative assessment based only on the data you upload and the checks you choose to include. It is not an audit, a certification or a professional opinion, and it does not verify anything in the field. Clean-up previews, expected scores and potential scores are estimates. You remain responsible for decisions you make using the Service and its results.

8. Paid clean-ups

8.1 Price. The price is shown before you pay. Payment is handled by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record and may add applicable taxes.

8.2 What you receive. A paid clean-up delivers your register in its original format, with changes highlighted and a change log. Items we flag for review are not changed for you.

8.3 Refund guarantee. If the minimum outcome shown on your clean-up preview is not reached, we will refund you in full. The minimum outcome is either "at least" a stated score, or an improvement on your current score. We measure it using the same checks and settings as your preview. To claim, email hello@assurifeye.com within 14 days of delivery.

8.4 Other refunds are at our discretion, except where the law requires otherwise.

9. Consults

Consults are paid calls. We confirm the time, price and payment details by email before any consult takes place.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Service.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

11.1 To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11.2 To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business or goodwill.

11.3 Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. If you have used only the free Service, it is limited to USD 100.

11.4 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will compensate us for losses we suffer because of data you uploaded without the right to do so, or because you broke section 5.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version you accepted applies to the assessment you started. If you start a new assessment, you will be asked to accept the current version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The courts of the Gauteng Division of the High Court, Pretoria, have jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise.
